OUR GROUP INQUIRY RESEARCH QUESTIONS... (PLASTIC BAGS)
Group Inquiry Questions
Addressing the problem of rubbish in our school.
What is the issue of rubbish in our school?
Our issue here is that we don't put our rubbish in the bin.

Are we disposing our rubbish effectively? Why? Why not? - Deandra
NO!! we are not disposing our rubbish properly because of the amount of people that have been littering in our school and community. If there was no rubbish on the ground and in the community imagine our world and country to be clean and green, with no one littering rubbish and there would be more community bins provided for shops and possibly schools.

What are some alternative ways to dispose our rubbish?
+Compost
+Worm farm
+Taking our rubbish we use at school to our houses
+We can use plastic bags

What do they do in other schools to deal with their waste? Other school have different bins  around the school and they put the bins where most kids play. They also have a class that does rubbish duty every day. Some schools have rubbish monitors to pick up rubbish after lunch time or playtime. After picking up all the rubbish they count how many they have found.

What do they do in other countries to deal with their waste?  They put big bins around the community and the town. These bins are colored with bright colours. These bins are also labeled with recycle where you can put all your wasted paper, a rubbish where you can place all your empty cans and bottles and a bin where you place metal stuff that you don't need.

Who is responsible for getting rid of waste in your home/school/community-Tupou and Crystal
Ourselves and our community are responsible for our rubbish. If you see rubbish anywhere on the ground or around your area you should atleast give a up a small time just to pick it up. Our universe should be a living green place not a living dump. It is important to keep the area clean so the stench of the rubbish won’t cause pollution for the air that we breathe and also for the animals that are around. It is always important to remember to be green and stay clean and should like that.
